Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Approvals24 platform and website operated by Approvals24, Lda. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of Services

You may use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use our services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations (including EU law and Portuguese law), infringes the rights of others, or transmits harmful or malicious content.

Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@approvals24.com of any suspected unauthorised use of your account.

Intellectual Property

The Approvals24 platform and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Approvals24, Lda. and its licensors, protected under applicable intellectual property law. You retain ownership of any content you submit through our services. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve our services.

Fees & Payment

Certain features of our services require payment. All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required under Portuguese and EU tax law. You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase. Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable consumer rights legislation, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive where applicable.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Portuguese and EU law, Approvals24, Lda. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Disclaimer of warranties. Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, beyond those required by mandatory applicable law.

Termination. We may suspend or terminate your access to our services with reasonable notice, except where immediate action is required to prevent harm or comply with a legal obligation. Upon termination, your right to access the services ceases and we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence within the EU.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or via a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
